Foxconn motherboard with Intel X58 chipset

Waiting for Nehalem, or the next generation of Intel processors may come.

The "soul" of the Foxconn motherboard with the code name Renaissance is the Intel X58 + ICH10R pair, and Intel CPUs based on the LGA1366 Nehalem microarchitecture can be inserted into the processor socket. The six memory slots are home to 1333 or 1066 MHz DDR3 modules, and the four PCI Express x16 slots (2 x 1.0, 2 x 2.0) enable the construction of multi-card — CrossFireX — systems.

As you would expect from a high-end motherboard, the sound-generating device has an eight-channel, two-gigabit network controller, six SATA-II ports and one IDE, and the bridge cooling is, of course, entirely copper.
