The Nehalem family, which debuted at the end of the year, is a milestone in Intel's history in several ways: it will be the processor manufacturer's first CPU with an integrated three-channel DDR3 memory controller, and the LGA1366 enclosure marks the beginning of a new era in motherboard manufacturers.
