An important bug fix is the latest release of Daemon Tools
Version 4.09.1 of the most popular CD and DVD emulator application has been released.
With the free application we can read the contents of all known image file types (e.g. ISO, BIN, NRG, IMG, MDS). It works extremely simply: during installation, it creates a virtual DVD drive, which is then used by the scanned image files. It handles most copy protection used in games, saving your disks and drives from unnecessary read operations, and making files copied to your hard drive much faster. Because many programs try to bypass Daemon Tools, they use random text as the manufacturer and model name when emulating the drive.
Daemon Tools 4.09.1 includes the following changes:
- fixed: daemon.dll loading issue for some configurations
- Fixed an issue with handling ISZ image files
- lang1033.dll expanded at the request of translators
