CpuIdle is resurrected
It almost seemed like we could bury this once-so-famous program, since nothing had been developed on it for two years. But now the ice is broken.
CpuIdle is a processor cooling and power management utility. By turning off parts of the processor that are not in use, it reduces temperature, increases stability and life, aids tuning, and reduces power consumption.
Changes in the new version (since 2 years):
- Recognition of AMD Athlon 64, Sempron and Opteron processors.
- Recognition of Intel Pentium D and Centrino processors.
- Chipset Recognition Module partially rewritten.
The program is time limited and can be used for 30 days without registration.
