The halved PCB HD 6450 came from HIS
After the HD 6670, HIS again benefits HTPC users. The low-profile Radeon HD 6450 graphics card has a passive heatsink and 2GB of DDR3 on-board memory.
The manufacturer's new product, called the Radeon HD 6450 Silence, features 160 stream processors and a graphics processor clocked at 650 MHz. The GPU connects via a 64-bit memory controller to DDR3 memory chips that tick at an effective 1000 MHz. The card has three monitor outputs (D-Sub, DVI, HDMI). Designed for the HTPC environment, the main weapon of the HD 6450 Silence is the UVD 3.0 engine, which handles H.264 / AVC, MPEG-2/4, VC-1 and DivX / Xvid content, as well as the ability to accelerate flash videos.
The HIS Radeon HD 6450 Silenc will hit store shelves with a $ 60 price tag.
