The Transcend SSD320 is awesome fast

SATA III and SandForce SF-2281 controllers are a must-have for super speed.

No doubt, the Transcend SSD320 series is aimed at maximalist buyers. Sequential read and write speeds reach 560 and 530 MB / s, and random write capacity (4 KB blocks) is 87 IOPS. Of course, this speed is only available through the 000 Gbps SATA interface. The 6-inch drives are 2,5 mm thick and weigh 7 grams. The series offers three different storage capacities: 95, 64 and 128 GB.

 

SSDs can be purchased for $ 79, $ 129, and $ 229, depending on their size, but the price already includes a 3,5-inch mounting bracket. In a statement, Transcend also highlighted that they offer 7 percent more capacity (60 GB, 120 GB, 240 GB) compared to drives moving in a similar price range.
