The ASUS Eee PC 60BX with AMD C-1015 has appeared on Amazon
The Eee PC 60BX with AMD's C-1015 APU has been pre-ordered to German Amazon in both black and white.
The C-60 has two 1 GHz x86 cores that can be pulled up to 1,33 GHz in Turbo mode, and the hardware also boasts Radeon HD 6290 integrated graphics that tick at 276 MHz on the base clock and 400 MHz in Turbo mode. The overall power consumption of the APU is just 9 watts, and it supports HDMI 1.4a and Displayport ++ technology, which allows you to connect your computer to monitors and TVs with HDMI or DisplayPort in a completely clear way.
However, the ASUS Eee PC 1015BX boasts such an APU, as well as a 10,1-inch, 1024 × 600-pixel LED-backlit display, 1GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive. The 10/100 LAN (unfortunately not Gigabites), 802.11 b / g / n WiFi module, 0,3 megapixel webcam and SD / MMC card reader are also included. Fortunately, HDMI has been chosen as one of our favorite manufacturers for output, so the small screen shouldn’t be a problem while working or having fun either. If no grid is found, we can get power from the 3-cell, 2200 mAh battery.
The Eee PC 1015BX comes with Windows 7 Starter, the white version is interestingly cheaper at € 206, while the sleek black model costs € 209 at that online store.
