ASUS ZENBOOK released

ASNE President Jonney Shih unveiled the long-awaited ZENBOOK ™.

With its smooth front lines 3 and 9 mm thick at the front, the ZENBOOK ™ is the thinnest ultra-laptop on the market: great for users who are constantly on the go or performing in classrooms, for example. The laptop's Instant On feature can reactivate the system in about 2 seconds, while providing up to 2 weeks of standby time.

The machines are based on the latest 2nd generation Intel® Core ™ processors optimized for mobile use, use SATA Revision 3.0 SSD storage, and offer Bluetooth ™ V4.0 and USB 3.0 connections. ASUS has also integrated USB Charger + technology, which can charge portable devices in a fraction of the normal time with its self-powered USB 3.0 connector. To incorporate all of the technologies listed, ASUS engineers have developed a unique cooling technology that uses a V-shaped air duct and a special copper plate to improve airflow and cooling. When the battery level drops below 5 percent, the notebook automatically saves the files to prevent data loss. Each ZENBOOK ™ incorporates ASUS SonicMaster technology, an optimized combination of hardware and software developed jointly by the ASUS Golden Ear team and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®.
