IRiver introduced a metallic music player

Another PMP was introduced by the deservedly popular iRiver.

IRiver has already started marketing its E50 Metal player: the premiere on March 20 will only affect Japanese residents, but we hope to get this great little device to Europe as soon as possible, allowing up to 52 hours of continuous music playback on a single charge. Nowadays, we not only rightly expect such portable gadgets to cope with various audio files, but also to excel in the display of still and moving images, but in this field, too, the iRiver product more or less meets consumer needs, as MP3 , in addition to WMA, FLAC and APE, SMW (video) and JPG and BMP (image) are also supported.

Weighing 40,2 grams, the 38,8 mm × 88 mm × 7,7 mm droplet has a 176 × 220 pixel display and FM radio receiver, as well as 4 GB of flash memory, and can even operate as a dictaphone on demand. The only weak point of the device is the complete video support in SMW, the recommended consumer price is unknown.
