From time to time, I get the current top lists, be it phones, Xiaomi gadgets, or just the most popular products in a price category in general. These lists will be especially useful as Christmas approaches, as they provide good tips on what to buy these days, and I can figure out which of the popular stuff the family would like.

In this article, we have listed the most popular cheap Chinese gadgets of the last month, with a few exceptions, those that can be purchased for just a few thousand forints. The first 15 places are also presented in a few sentences, and you can see other products in the list in headlines.

1. Xiaomi Mi Band 3 smart bracelet

Whatever popularity list I ask for each, Xiaomi’s new smart bracelet comes first. The triumphal procession launched by its predecessor really seems to be continuing, so soon the Mi Band 3 may become the most popular wearable smart device on the market.

Mi Band 3, at least externally, has changed little from its predecessor. The display covers the entire top section, the edges are rounded and the button also blends better into its surroundings. There was no change in the choice of material, both devices are made of the same thermoplastic thermoplastic elastomeric material. The strap of the bracelet is available in three colors, black, blue and red, and the essential part is black, but of course it is expected that aftermarket straps of different styles will also appear soon.

The display has also changed. The Mi Band 3 has a 0,78-inch PMOLED panel, while its predecessor has a 0,42-inch OLED display. Xiaomi has taken user feedback into account when developing the new bracelet. One of the most common problems was with the readability of the display. Well, the new bracelet is visibly brighter than its predecessor thanks to improvements to the interior and display. Mi Band 3 has also improved in water resistance compared to its predecessor. It has now been made waterproof to a pressure of 5 atmospheres, so we can dive to a depth of up to 50 meters.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 comes with a 70 mAh battery. With this, the bracelet was similar to the competitors, it had to be worn roughly once a week. Xiaomi has already designed a much larger 110 mAh battery in the new bracelet, which means the standby time has risen to over 20 days on a single charge.

Luckily, the price of the bracelet hasn’t changed, the Mi Band 3 essentially costs exactly as much as we used to pay for the previous version. We haven’t come across this gadget so far, but it seems to be familiar to many because it was the second most popular product in the last month. It’s a terribly simple, yet awfully useful gadget that you can put a SIM card and a memory card in. You communicate with us through the former and save the data to be logged to the latter.

During this time, we can retrieve the position determined by the GPS system and also control it with different SMS codes.

It is a useful gadget, but not only to track the position of our car, due to its small size it can also be used in motorcycles, for example. 3. Xiaomi smart home door and window sensor

The Xiaomi smart home ecosystem seems to be gaining popularity, at least from the fact that so many of the door and window opening sensors have run out. The popularity of memory cards is unbroken, which is no wonder given the domestic conditions. The tribute imposed by Artisjus causes an increase in price, which makes it well worth ordering media from outside, many times we can buy them from China, for example, below the domestic price.

According to our recollections, a similar product from Xiaomi was the first to become better known from this type of lamp. It was very catchy despite the fact that the price was roughly three times that of Utorch’s product. I was really surprised by this stuff. Because of my profession, I use such gadgets on a daily basis, but I wouldn’t say this is common. This device is a USB-connectable adapter to which almost any type of mass storage device can be connected, be it an IDE, a SATA connector, a 2,5- or 3,5-inch, conventional or SSD drive. It is most useful for data backup, or if you want to search for data and images on your old IDE connector viny, but your new machine no longer has a port capable of receiving the old hard drive.

Autumn is here, it’s here again, I slowly put the engine down and sit back in the car, maybe now is a good time to order such a camera for myself. It has happened many times before that I have had to say that it is easy to be smart in retrospect, and this certainly applies to accidents involving driving.
