This is said to be an official video of Xiaomi MIX 4
It could even be true, so let's fight it out!
There have been so many incompetent rumors about Xiaomi MIX 4 that I am slowly running into the whole thing. Yet the purpose of the rumors should be to spice up the peoples by the time they appear, and then, like crazy, they rush the expensive phone off the shelf. I don’t mind that I’m not going to rush, as after MIX 2 and MIX 3 I already feel almost mandatory to buy MIX 4, but let’s not run so far ahead, let’s see independent tests first, first and foremost about the cameras.
Let's move on to the video below. So, a lot of technology data doesn’t turn out, but there are some important things. The first is that not only will it be frameless, but the edge of the display will be curved. This is now called a waterfall display for some reason, although Samsung also used one, and no one remembered the waterfall. The thing looks good, but I don’t think it’s a little practical for a person like me to be one who constantly scratches the display of phones. So this peak display for me e.g. suction. We don't know the resolution, but it will obviously be FHD + and obviously the fingerprint sensor will be below it.
What will not be below the display, however, is the self-contained camera. It was absolutely unbelievable information, the camera under the glass, at least for me, still and I think at least 1- and a half years, because they can do it, because to work really well or an awfully good (much better than today) aperture solution to get good pictures despite the shading of the components in the display, the AMOLED panel, or to completely redesign the AMOLED panel so that they can work with fewer components, in other words more light will pass through them. These are no small tasks. So based on the video, a pop-up camera remains the only solution. I would have voted for this too, because this slippery bullshit was a big dead end for MIX 3.
What we can still discover is that there are three cameras on the back (which isn’t surprising yet) and the top one looks like a pretty big piece. Based on this, it could easily happen that the main camera will actually be over 100 megapixels. For my part, I would have been much happier with a really good 16-20 megapixel piece, but we live under the spell of numbers if they were to write 1000 megapixels on it everyone should. There is one more interesting thing about the video. For a moment, you can see a zoom mechanism at the bottom camera, similar to the Huawei solution. From this it can be assumed that a normal, and not much larger, hardware zoom arrives, which is definitely to be welcomed, although it can be expected from such a phone.
The release date is approaching, so we’re expected to be smarter this month about the specification! What’s more about the video is that it’s suspicious it’s some sort of cut material because it also shows a phone with a drop-shaped camera island on it, so I’d handle the matter with reservations.
