One of Youtube’s best-known tech channels is JerryRigEverything, where all sorts of gadgets are put to a really extreme, almost brutal test. Scalpels, hats and lighters are available, plus all kinds of scratch and damage devices. In one recent episode of the show, an attempt was made to destroy the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro phone, essentially unsuccessfully.
During the tests, the display was heated with a lighter and the camera protruding from the frame was also pressed hard. None of the interventions left a trace, meaning the discoloration of the screen disappeared as it cooled back, and the camera continued to work merrily. The fingerprint sensor under the front glass was also tested. Above the sensor, the glass was scratched apart, but that didn't matter either, the release worked, and the speed didn't change. Bending the device was not successful either. Of course, it seems to lean some, but it failed to break, the rehearsal had no effect on operation. So overall, the phone passed the extreme tests with a star rating of five!
