Comes with the new Optimus SAS interface

In vain, development cannot stop. The SSD is pushing with steam, so it’s no wonder we come across such storage on more and more servers.

Smart Modular Technologies officially unveils its SSD drive for servers using the SAS 6,0 Gbps interface. The 2,5-inch drive uses MLC NAND Flash memory chips. Mass storage is available in 200, 400, 800 GB and 1.6 TB capacities. The new SSD drives are capable of 500 MB / second read and write speeds due to the use of the SAS interface. The manufacturer is expected to launch the new Optimus in September this year with a 5-year warranty. Price information is not yet available.
