The PoweRock EX series is coming

A Gigabyte it is also moving its power supply series called PoweRock into the low-cost segment.

A Gigabyte will soon begin marketing the power supply product line, named PoweRock, dubbed PoweRock EX. The EX indicator covers five new members with 300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 watts of output power. They are familiar with the ATX 12V v2.0 standard and are also equipped with the necessary protections (overvoltage, overcurrent, etc.). They are cooled by a 12 cm fan. They did not receive any of the 80 Plus ratings, as their efficiency is only 78%. For the two largest models, 450 and 500 watts, the 12-volt branch is divided into two parts, while the others are not. The novelties have dimensions of 150 × 140 × 86 mm. The time interval between two failures (MTBF) was set by the manufacturer at 100.000 hours.
