Energy saving AMD Phenom X2 processors
The latest schedule is also pulling the veil off of energy-efficient Phenom X2 processors.
The low-power Phenom X2 GE CPUs may premiere in the first quarter of 2008, right after the arrival of the first Phenom X2 GS processors. The Socket AM2 + socket-sized CPUs will consume just 45 watts, while members of the GS series will boast 65 and 89 watts of TDP, respectively.
