Available for Android 3.1 on the Eee Pad Transformer

The update improves system and tablet performance at several points.

ASUS today made the Android 3.1 update available for the Eee Pad Transformer. The new software comes in the form of a FOTA (firmware over the air) update and can be installed with a few taps. After installing the 3.1 package, a new firmware will also appear on the dock, which will make the use of the physical keyboard smoother. The domestic release of the Eee Pad Transformer is due in the second week of June, prospective owners will be notified of the updates after the first switch-on.
