Elephone Soldier - shockproof phone with a tiny flaw
As we got used to from Elephone, they put a great phone on the table again.
In the company’s offering, rugged, or shock-resistant, long-distance phones were handled a bit step-by-step, but that’s changing now with the release of a mobile called Soldier. The skills are very good, we can tie it in at one point, but that doesn’t preclude buying, it just caught our eye.
The Elephone Soldier is a relatively small phone, believing the screen is only 5,5 inches. True, since we are talking about strapatephones here, we cannot expect a frameless solution, so the house itself is quite large. However, the point is not this, but the fact that the little one is still filigree among the long-distance phones.
It wouldn't be Elephone if we didn't find some special features in it. First of all, it is worth mentioning the fact that this is the world's first impact and waterproof device equipped with a 2K resolution display, which can also be seen in the advertisements. This roughly means that the pixel density of the display is similar to that of top-of-the-line mobile phones, as we get a low image diagonal in addition to the high resolution. The second interesting thing is the "panic" button on the back. They call it the SOS button, its task is understandable, but we would like to know how many people press it when they are looking for the fingerprint reader on the phone, because it is right where the fingerprint sensor is usually located. To unlock with a fingerprint on this mobile, we have to touch the right edge. The third detail worth highlighting is the 5000 mAh battery, which is a truly outstanding value in the category, but also compared to the external dimensions of the phone.
The line of extras is still not over. The standard software, magnetic sensor compass breast is also obtained by applying a conventional magnetic unit to the housing, which of course remains functional even if the phone is discharged. The size of the mass storage is not unusual either, because in addition to the 4 GB of system memory, 128 GB of built-in storage is packed, which I think will be enough, even if we make the most of the camera capabilities of the 21 megapixel Sony sensor on the back. Last but not least, the backlight function deserves attention, which can also help while hiking or camping.
The only moment we can relate to is the eight-core central unit. This is a MediaTek Helio X25, which is already a three-year-old model, in fact, it is no different from the even older Helio X20 except for the clock. We’re not saying there would be little in the way, we used to have a mobile that was fitted with this chip, but maybe we should have chosen a slightly fresher procit. At the same time, of course, it is still worth considering the purchase, because the Elephone Soldier is doing well in terms of other capabilities, but compared to that, the price is not high, until July 29, until the end of the introductory promotion, it will cost $ 189,99!
