The Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC came out of the box

While NVIDIA’s first DirectX 11 cards are slowly slipping onto store shelves, here’s another unique model from the Galaxy that might pique our interest.

The GTX 470 GC is ticking with the long-awaited GF 100 40nm GPU, and its PCB has been half an inch shorter than its reference solution. A small factory tuning was also included, as the 1280MB of GDDR5 memory works at 3348 MHz, the GPU 625, while the shaders work at 1250 MHz. The temperature is maintained at a suitable level by a unique cooling that occupies two PCI slots and has four copper heat pipes. The special feature of the fan lies in its foldability, so it becomes easy to clean.
