Multitasking is getting more secure in iPhone 4.0

Rumors seem more and more serious that Apple is finally planning on multitasking on its phones.

Citing an anonymous source, AppleInsider said, in iPhone OS 4.0, we can run multiple programs at once, and that includes not just the factory software, but all the programs that come out.

True, only intact iPhones can’t run multiple programs at once, Jailbreaked (hacked) devices can, but Apple is of course fighting it with its fingernails. However, it can no longer afford to continue to launch its new operating system against the upcoming Motorola Droid with the much-criticized flaw.

OS 4.0 is expected to be released in the summer.
