Individually cooled Radeon HD 4890 from PowerColor

Nothing new under the sun…

While everyone is looking forward to autumn with increased excitement over the new VGAs, PowerColor is trying to calm the mood with a new RV790 card. The main feature of the novelty, codenamed AX4890 1GBD5, is the unique cooling that occupies two card slots, which certainly surpasses its factory rival in everything.

The PowerColor video controller follows AMD’s recommendation in everything else: 800 shading, 256-bit memory buses, 850 and 3900 MHz clock signals are paired with the RV790 GPU and 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM. The newcomer will soon be on store shelves for € 150.
