An impressive Star Wars mod

David Barry is 23 years old, New York, Brooklyn. A Star Wars fan who thought he wanted to see the subject of his ad in a different form. He started.

I think the next beautiful computer desk would be accepted by everyone, whether Star Wars fans or not. The model is none other than the well-known TIE Fighter from the film, whose side panel is made of plywood, the cockpit that forms the middle sphere, even though it is a hamster / guinea pig runner also available in pet shops! This sphere houses the computer, more specifically a FlexATX motherboard along with an Athlon XP 1800+, 80GB hard drive, power supply and CD-Rom. The ventilation is also very well solved, with a 12 cm fan on each side of the sphere ventilating the computer. The table top is plexiglass with plenty of space. The whole project cost $ 300 (~ $ 60.000), so it’s a compelling argument against those who say modding is expensive. At Mod-tech Hall 4 in HungExpo (BNV area) in September, we hope to see similar miracles.
