The S10 is attacking on the DX3 front!

It's a bit late, but soon after NVIDIA and AMD, S3 Graphics will also launch its first DirectX 10 product.

For the time being, there is a lot of secrecy surrounding S3 Graphics' next-generation graphics chips, all you know is that they come with support for the 90nm Chrome 460 (D2) DirectX 10 and the later 65nm Chrome 430 (D3) DirectX 10.1, but we are still unable to provide additional technical data and premiere dates.

Hewlett-Packard was among the first to order a larger batch of D2 GPUs from the Fujitsu production line. The only question is in which category and at what price will S3 Graphics try to compete with NVIDIA and AMD chips with these graphics processors.
