Bare the R680 monster

The photographed copy showed itself without memories.

Chiphell, as always, took photos of a product that looks even further away. The red monster pictured is none other than one of AMD-ATI’s latest prototypes, the R680, which still lacks GDDR4 memory chips. On the other hand, it is already clear how the two RV670 cores were arranged, and that the communication between the controllers is again performed by a PLX chip. The cooling is similar to the HD 2900 series, which will hopefully only outperform the R600 cooler in length.
