Acer is reducing the price of Ultrabooks

Acer is reducing the price of UltrabooksSuper-thin laptops will come with better price tags next year, and the real breakthrough will come in 2013.

According to Digitimes, Acer will start reducing the price of its Ultrabooks competing with the MacBook Air in the second quarter of 2012. Thus, the prices of the devices may drop from the current magical $1000 to $800-900. And the beautiful future may start in 2013, when super-thin laptops can cost as little as $500, so it will probably be a completely different world than the one we live in today. The prediction that we can finally say goodbye to netbooks and that "paper-thin" machines will take over may be true, tablets with small screens and Ultrabooks with larger ones.
