Corsair SSD recall

Corsair SSD recallThe 3GB member of the Force120 family has serious problems.

A few weeks ago, the Corsair introduced the Force 3 SSD product line. Hardly any news arrived in stores, but an error has already been revealed that affects the 120GB model. The manufacturer has not specified in detail the nature of the defect, all that is known is that the product is not able to meet the data described in the official specifications. The defect, which could not be detected in the test lab before the start of the delivery, requires both software (firmware) and hardware repair. As a result, Corsair is recalling the 3GB versions of the Force 120 family. Shipping and repair costs are, of course, borne by the manufacturer. So anyone who has already managed to get a 120GB Force 3 SSD is better off returning it immediately for warranty reasons! The 60 and 240 GB models are not affected by the error.
