CeBIT - DTX housing from SilverStone

As you know, SilverStone is best represented in the world of home theater PCs, so it’s no wonder their new house is in this segment as well.

So far, we haven’t been able to come across much of the physical implementations of AMD’s preferred DTX format, so it’s a special pleasure to see photos of the case and motherboard in the news on the Inquirer pages.

The SilverStone Milo ML02 supports micro-ATX, mini-ATX and DTX formats. This is not a complicated thing, as the news so far has been that the DTX will be compatible with ATX models. However, the pictures show that the similarity ends here. Maybe even the back panel terminals are in a similar position, as maintaining compatibility is an important task, but things have been thoroughly rearranged on the panel. The components responsible for the CPU voltage have disappeared behind the back panel terminals, the memory is located above the CPU socket. It can be seen that the position of the holes around the socket has also changed, so the DTX again requires new CPU coolers, but at least new clamps.

We would not try to predict the success of the new motherboard format, in any case the arrangement of the components on the sheet seems good.

We can’t write much new about the SilverStone house. The exterior design is absolutely SilverStone, nice in Hungarian. The plates look thick, so probably this house isn’t the hoodie either, I cut it all represents your finger category.
