Cab via ActiveSync

A free version of this surprisingly useful utility has been released.

There are two ways to install programs on Pocket PCs and WM Smartphones: by using an exe installer, or by copying the installer .cab file to a device and then launching it there. Many times, only the latter method can be used for a particular program, which in turn is when it is more complicated than running a simple installation program on your desktop computer. This is why Cab via ActiveSync was born, which allows you to install any .cab file on your handheld or smartphone with a few clicks, without any copying. Free version of the program can be found here, the only limitation is a reminder window that encourages you to buy the paid version.
