Blu-ray decoder card from Albatron

The title is already very interesting, let's see what it's really about.

On the official website of Albatron, I noticed a small ad occupying a quarter of a page about a Blu-ray decoder. Among the products, you can quickly find the fabric, and it became apparent right after the first moments: it is practically a GeForce 8500 GT, which was invented very well by the bird manufacturer.

Blu-ray decoder card from Albatron

Albatron envisions no need to play the blue laser HD format other than their product, which is based on NVIDIA's PureVideo HD technology, a PC player and a mid-range computer equipped with at least one Windows 2000 - of course HD DVD support also provided. The big question is whether we get some special software for this card, or is it really a GeForce 8500 GT called differently. Also, it’s interesting that it’s a decoder card that can’t fully accelerate in terms of next-generation HD content - just think of MPEG4-based VC-1, for example.
