Blackview dived into the top category, but not in any way he did.

Blackview is not a very old manufacturer. Their first phones were shot at the bottom of the entry level. They didn’t look bad, but that was pretty much the only thing that spoke for them. Then the company opened a new front, entering the market for rugged phones, where much more interesting mobiles were already launched.

The Blackview BL6000 Pro, their latest device, has become quite special. Let’s start there, for me it just fell off in terms of specification that it’s a rugged phone. In hindsight, of course, I can already see that the exterior isn’t the usual, the frames are a little thicker than we’re used to, and there’s shock protection at the corners as well, but overall the design is so good that briskness doesn’t poke our eyes out.

Then there's the hardware! The Blackview BL6000 Pro features MediaTek's new chipset, the Dimensity 800. This central unit family, Dimensity, replaces the now-sounding Helio series. Sure, there are plenty of new features in it, such as 5.1 Bluetooth, but the proci and GPU have also been replaced.

The Dimensity 800 features an 8-core processor with four Cortex-A76 cores in the top cluster and four Cortex-A55 cores in the bottom cluster. The maximum clock signal for both groups is 2 GHz. The GPU is also new, we no longer find two but 4 cores in the Mali-G57!

However, the best capabilities of the Dimensity 800 are not these, but the fact that we also get 5G support!

The iron in the phone has so far corresponded to a strong mid-range, but the built-in memory and storage already evokes the upper category. The manufacturer has packed no less than 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB (UFS 2.1!) Of storage into the mobile phone.

Of course, other abilities are not bad either. The display is a 2300 x 1080 pixel IPS panel, the front panel 16 megapixel Samsung sensor camera no longer peaks notchon, but peeks out of a camera hole. On the back there are two cameras next to the depth sensor. The main camera got the Sony IMX582 sensor, even the ultra wide angle unit has a Samsung sensor.

The quality of the main camera is excellent, at least in terms of paper format. Even the Sony sensor is a guarantee for good images, but if the factory-specified f / 1.79 aperture value is also true, we can raise our hat in front of photographic skills.

What else?

It has a 5280 mAh battery with a Type-C buckle and 18 watts of quick charge. There are plenty of sensors, including an air pressure gauge, there are four satellite systems to support navigation and there is NFC too!

As I mentioned at the beginning of the presentation, the Blackview BL6000 Pro is a rugged phone, and among the rugged capabilities we can find everything you would expect from better devices. Compliance with IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G standards is also on the data sheet, meaning it is not simply dust and water resistant, but resistant to high pressure water, acidic environments, ballistic shock, direct sunlight and a bunch of other things.

Blackview has been famous for its cheapness so far, but with the Blackview BL6000 Pro, that word doesn’t pop up first when we look at the price. In the introductory campaign, the HUF 121 seems like a lot, but the situation is different in terms of hardware and phone capabilities. It is safe to say that the pencil was thinly caught at the manufacturer when the price tag was drawn.

So everything is just a matter of comparison. If you want a traditional-looking phone with rugged capabilities, good cameras, a large battery and display, a brutal lot of memory and a bit of storage, and last but not least 5G support, this package costs that much today, and I can safely say it’s worth all the money spent centet.

If you liked it, take advantage of the price offered by the introductory promotion and be among the first 100 customers to add it to your cart for HUF 120, here:
