Biostar has previously introduced two new Intel Haswell processors, the Hi-Fi H81S3 and the Hi-Fi B85N 3D. And now it is further expanding its Hi-Fi series.
The Hi-Fi B85S +, which comes in micro-ATX size, fits perfectly into today's fashionable design trends. On all-black PCBs we find only black slots. On the motherboard, as its name suggests, we find the Intel B85 chipset, which fully supports Intel’s new Haswell processors.
Its four DDR3 slots can hold up to 32GB of memory, even in Dual-Channel mode. If you do not want to use the integrated GPU, we have a third generation 16x PCIe interface. In addition, 2 PCIe 1x as well as a standard size PCI interface were included. The motherboard also has six SATA ports (4x SATA3, 2x SATA2), 3 USB expansion ports (1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0) and a printer port. The processor is powered by 4 phases.
It delivers what you expect in a rear-panel output: one PS / 2 port, two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI, one DVI, one VGA, one gigabit LAN port, and an 8-channel audio output .
There is no information about its price yet, but if the manufacturer follows its current pricing strategy, we will be able to get it at a very reasonable price.
