BenQ: Announced announcements on CeBIT

BenQ is preparing to present new products in this product category at this year's exhibition in Hanover: joybook, LCD TV, LCD monitor and home theater projector.

Let’s start with perhaps the most interesting - at first hearing - joybook. What does this term mean? BenQ is the name given to notebooks developed specifically for multimedia purposes. Being their main target, giving presentations and mobile DVDs, they are equipped with a relatively large widescreen display compared to their other competitors. The latest newcomer is called the S53W (W as widescreen) with a 13-inch WXGA resolution display that can deliver up to 200 cd / m2

It also boasts a brightness of. The new joybook is equipped with almost all common connectors, of course it can be used in a wireless network. The S53W will be available in March with a dual-layer DVD burner on board.

 

BenQ expected announcements at CeBIT

The Taiwanese company will also unveil its latest DLP projector in Hanover. The W10000 will be fitted with Texas Istruments ’latest full HD (1920 × 1080) capable DMD chip, and at first will have a slightly unbelievable 15000: 1 contrast ratio at 1200 ANSI lumens. Of course, it is a native widescreen projector that is also equipped with an HDMI interface with HDCP.

What will be exactly the same in the new LCDs is the possibility of an HDMI connection. Here are the details of the two new products:

The new BenQ PL4271 LCD TV, which will be released in June, will also be unveiled at CeBIT. It will have the following features: 1920 × 1080 resolution, 1000: 1 contrast, 550 cd / m2 brightness and 8 ms response time.
