Introducing: MC001-BD - a PC that won't leave you cold

In terms of appearance, Arctic's machine, at least in terms of form, could not bring much new. The option of building a machine in a completely wild-shaped house didn’t seem to be an option, so they could choose from the usual set of columns, laid columns, or possibly corner-placed columns. They voted for the claimed form, which is probably due to the special refrigeration that will be introduced later.

The form is therefore not revolutionary, but the simple appearance is not yet unpleasant. Most of the house is black plastic, but one side has a matte, slightly metal-like metal surface reminiscent of sand-blown surfaces.

I am not very surprised to tell you that the connectors can be found on the front and rear of the machine. In front we find a card reader, audio output and input, two USB connectors and a power button, in exactly that order. The manufacturer has also thought of those who want to use their machine with a remote control, so we also get an infrared receiver that is placed above the optical drive tray.

The rear front, of course, has many more inputs and outputs. Let's start the line again from the bottom. Next to the Wi-Fi antenna connector is the power input. The USB connectors start a little higher, five in number. This is followed by Ethernet, HDMI and D-Sub connectors. At the top we find an optical output through which we can transmit multichannel sound outside the machine. This connector is not very fashionable these days, manufacturers like to save money, as it is also possible to send the digital signal to an amplifier via HDMI.

The line of connectors is not over yet. To our great surprise, the manufacturer has not forgotten about those who want to transmit multichannel sound in analog form, this can be done through Jack plugs.

The machine stands on a solid base that we don’t have to mount on, so it arrives. This may be due to the fact that the manufacturer only recommends the use in a vertical position, as only then does the cooling work properly. Airflow is provided by several large openings in the rear of the machine, at the top of the side panels and on the roof.

Let's quickly see what's inside!
