Beelink N41 N4100 Mini PC - the sound of silence

I can't do much better to work, surf the internet, watch movies.

When I see machines like this, I am reminded of how powerful it was many years ago to build a cool and quiet home theater toilet. How much money, how much follow-up, how much planning was needed. How much we bothered with the water coolers, how much we picked up the fans and the houses. This is no longer necessary, because here is this mini-PC, for example, which lips out old HTPCs for performance, while its size, power consumption and especially the noise it produces is nowhere compared to the old monsters.

Of course, you can tinker with the quad-core Celeron or the integrated Intel HD Graphics 600, which works in it, but is unnecessary. It is quite obvious that this machine was not designed to replace a top gamer machine or a machine used for graphics work. But everything else is perfect. If you’re just surfing the net, editing text, emailing, or playing simpler games on your computer, you’ll be plenty good. Plus, because of its size, you can even mount it on the back of the monitor, at the bottom of the desk top. It doesn’t take up space, it has no voice, it can’t consume too much.

Of course, in addition to traditional PCs, you can also replace the aforementioned HTPC, as you can even do it next to a TV, with a wireless mouse and keyboard, and an FHD flat screen TV. I wrote FHD TV, but we can even use UHD resolution, the machine supports it, and we also get hardware help for H.265 containers, so there will be no problem with media playback.

In addition to the many accolades, let’s say a few words about the hardware as well. I mentioned above that it has an Intel processor, specifically a quad-core Intel GEMINI LAKE Celeron N2,4 running at up to 4100 GHz, in which we find the integrated Intel HD Graphics 600 video controller also mentioned. In addition to the central chip, there is 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of SSD in the housing. This storage is already sufficient to install basic programs and can comfortably fit pre-installed Windows 10. If that’s not enough, we can call for help with a 64GB SD card, so I think the structure will be just right for the purposes mentioned above. Also worth mentioning is the gigabit LAN, wifi supporting the ac standard, which means that the networks can be accessed in the fastest way possible and currently at home.

As usual, the price remained at the end. At the moment, we have to pay 56 thousand forints for this machine. No denial, for that much money we already get a desktop PC with similar capabilities, but it’s big, noisy and consumes a lot. So, if you want a quiet, low-power and small PC with Windows 10, consider the Beelink N41 N4100 Mini PC as a possible alternative.
