A new member of the series, or rather members of the 120S models. These are all-in-one water cooling systems.

That is, we get the heat exchanger radiator, the cooling block and the piping at the same time. A completely closed system that doesn’t bring anything new at first glance, but in reality it’s not quite that.

The LIQMAX 120S incorporates the company’s new SCT (Shunt Channel Technology) technology, a new solution in the cooling block market.

To put it simply, you have to imagine that there are more channels in the block, so the closer you are to the processor, the more cool the coolant will be. In the more distant channels, cooler water circulates, which eventually mixes with the heat so you don’t have to recool as hot a liquid as you did with older solutions when you return to the radiator. In theory, this is a very good idea. We are curious to see that in reality it will be realized.

As I mentioned at the beginning, the 120mm chiller family is expanded with two members.

Both new variants have a 120 mm heat exchanger, and both have a 120 mm fan to help with cooling, which can be adjusted in two stages with the included controller or connected to the motherboard with our own program as desired. The only difference between the two variants is the fan.

Prices have yet to be announced by Enermax.
