AMD's latest chipset is already on track

Engineering copies of Advanced Micro Devices ’latest chipset, the RD790 - which features three PCI Express busses and HyperTransport 3 - could be delivered to motherboard manufacturers within days. The first series of the RD790 will receive Phenom FX processors, while the AM2 + socket, which can be considered the bed of the Phenom X4s, will appear a little later.
