The recently mentioned, well-received Iconia A200 advertising we finally got the hardware list of the device officially.

Acer has unveiled the specification for the Iconia Tab 200

Acer’s new tablet comes with the aforementioned 10,1-inch display with a resolution of 1280 × 800. The soul of the machine is the dual core 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC as well as 1 GB of RAM. Of course, all this is not a revolutionary novelty, but the A200 will not strengthen the lower category. Available in gray and red, the tablet still hides some important information about itself, as Acer hasn’t talked about the size of the storage space, and the back camera is in great silence. The latter is not visible in the promo image either, it is true that the area is covered, so we may be surprised, in any case we would not fall on our sword if we did not find the completely unnecessary optics in the back. All the more so as there will be a 2 megapixel front panel solution for video chatting that will satisfy every need for a tablet. In addition, we can tell about the full-size USB connector and SD card reader already known from the advertisement. Also familiar from here is the Acer Ring multitasking task manager, which will have access to Google Maps, screenshot features, and other apps, among other things.

The Iconia A200 will debut worldwide in January with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, or Android 4.0, at an officially unknown price.
