This article will be about slightly more expensive phones, ones that can be bought for less than 60 forints. If we look around in the domestic offer, for example among the phones offered by the service providers, we can see that the 60 thousand forints are not much money for a modern phone. 1. HUAWEI Honor 9 Lite
Huawei’s phone was added to our selection last month as well. You could say it’s surprising, but it’s not, as the P9 Lite got a very strong iron despite its name.
Huawei is one of the fastest growing manufacturers not only at home but all over the world. No wonder, we can say that it can deliver world-class quality in the cameras built into the phone, and according to the latest news, it is even conceivable that they will be the first to launch a mobile phone with a folding display. So there’s a reason to love their phones, even if they got a Lite token, because as I indicated above, it’s neither too easy nor too weak.
The mobile headunit is a Kirin 659 with eight cores running at up to 2,36 GHz, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. There are plenty of cameras, 13 + 2 megapixel units at the front and back, so we can work with a total of four cameras, of course not at the same time. The display’s diagonal is small compared to today’s high-end devices, at just 5,65 inches, but its resolution is good, as the 18: 9 aspect ratio display has a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The high resolution and small image diagonal together mean a high pixel density, so you definitely won’t complain about the image quality.
The phone also got a fingerprint sensor, compass and gravity sensor, navigation is also solved thanks to GPS, GLONASS and Beidou support. Of course there is also wifi and Bluetooth, and the built-in battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh.

2. UMIDIGI Z2 Special Edition
UMIDIGI launched several interesting phones this fall, with the Z2 Special Edition somewhere in the middle of the palette in terms of both price and knowledge.
Holding the phone in your hand, the trendy nocth display will appear first. UMIDIGI has also used this solution, which has become fashionable with the iPhone X (we know that the iPhone X was not the first such phone), i.e. when a peninsula extends to the top of the display, carrying the front-facing cameras and sensors. The display is otherwise 19: 9 aspect ratio, the display front panel ratio is 90 percent, and the resolution is 1080 x 2246 pixels.
In the case of the UMIDIGI Z2 Special Edition, it is important to emphasize the plural in the case of cameras, as this device also has a dual camera on the front and back. Plus, these cameras have pretty good values, both consisting of a 16- and an 8-megapixel pair. Moreover, under the larger camera, the Samsung S5K2P7 sensor works, which is 16 megapixels, according to not only UMIDIGI but also Samsung. The sensor itself is extremely large with its 1 / 2.8 ″ size, which also means large 1.12um pixels. The large sensor will receive more light, making it less sensitive to low light conditions. In addition to the large sensor, good optics are also important, which is also given here, as the aperture of the lens system is f / 1.7 (the smaller the value, the better). With the help of the secondary eight-megapixel cameras, the phone is able to take more contrasty images with better dynamics, and hardware depth-of-field washing is also available for the back and front cameras. For the latter, for example, we can take great portrait photos of ourselves.
The central unit of the phone is a MediaTek Helio P23, which is currently one of the most popular mid-range units. The integrated processor has eight cores and a maximum clock speed of 2 GHz. The pixels in the phone are drawn by an ARM Mali G700 MP71 type graphics accelerator running at 2 MHz. In addition to the proc, we already find 4 GB of modern LPDDR4 memory, while the storage has a capacity of 64 GB, which of course can be expanded with an external memory card.
The price of the UMIDIGI Z2 Special Edition is the same as the price of Huawei's device, in some respects it gives more, in others a little less than that. A stronger processor than the former, and cameras with better capabilities may be decisive.

3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro
In September, only its predecessor, the Xiaomi Note 5, could have been featured, but a newer version has arrived in the meantime. Many people believe that the Note 6 Pro is just a redesigned Note 5, which on the one hand is not entirely true, on the other hand, even if it would interest anyone to look better, have a bigger display and cost exactly the same as its predecessor. ?
What the customer is interested in is the processor. Well, there really is no change in that, but let’s not bother about that, because there’s a reason for it. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip with its eight Kyro 260 cores and 1,8 GHz clock is a really bull piece, plus other hardware components built into the processor, such as the LTE radio, image processor or memory controller with LPDDR4 memories, are a state-of-the-art unit. .
Which is a change from its predecessor in the first line of the display. Instead of the now traditional 18: 9 panel, we can look at an IPS solution with a 19: 9, 6,26-inch diagonal and 2280 x 1080 pixels. The second big change affected the cameras. Compared to its predecessor, the number of cameras has increased by one, now there are two cameras at the front and two at the back. By the way, this phone is Xiaomi's first four-camera mobile! The cameras on the back are 12 and 5 megapixels, these are mostly focused on traditional subjects, while the 20 + 2 megapixel combo on the front is responsible for great selfies. Importantly, secondary cameras function as depth sensors, meaning they play a role in the design of hardware depth washing. If even that weren’t enough, the selfie camera has, of course, been given Xiaomi’s artificial intelligence solution, which will be used for better quality self-portraits and, for cameras on the back, with automatic subject detection.

4. VERNEE X1
There is a little less talk about Vernee phones these days, even though they come with interesting handsets as well. Here, for example, is the X1, which, like the phones on the list so far, has four cameras.
The Vernee X1 is a really stylish phone with a traditional look. There is no notch just for the huge display, emi next to the page is almost no frame at all, but the bottom and top are also very thin, which we find. Therefore, the top is so thick that the manufacturer can place the front-facing cameras and sensors in it. The display has a six-inch diagonal, based on IPS technology, and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
The Vernee X1 is really the perfect mobile based on its paper format. The central unit is the MTK Helio P23, one of the company’s most successful mid-range inserts. Modern, consumes little, the GPU has become quite strong in it, and of course we can't complain about the eight processor cores either. Operation on this phone is aided by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, both of which are pleasing in this price range.
The phone has four cameras, a 13 + 5 megapixel pair on the front and a 16 + 5 megapixel pair on the back. The front-facing camera, of course, supports face recognition, without which we can no longer find a modern phone. Fortunately, Vernee didn’t make the mistake of relying on face recognition alone to unlock the device, if we love the usual things, we can also use the fingerprint sensor.
There is no problem with other capabilities either, wifi already supports the ac standard, and satellite systems also manage GPS and Glonass signals. Perhaps one of the most important of the missing data is that the Vernee X1 has a huge battery with a capacity of 6200 mAh. This in itself is a significant weapon, but if we mention that despite the large battery, the thickness of the phone has remained completely average, then there really is a reason to pick our heads up. The 6200 mAh capacity can mean up to three days without charging under normal use, which is a really nice performance from such a beautiful, graceful phone.

5. Xiaomi Mi A2
The selection two months ago only included the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with impaired capabilities, but to our great delight, the price of the full version has already been consolidated this month, so we can replace the Lite with one of our favorites, the Xiaomi Mi A2.
The phone has become really strong in terms of central unit, but the point isn’t even that, but as with its predecessor, MIUI-free, clean Android and cameras. The central unit, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 MSM8976 Plus, employs eight cores in the processor, however, these are not ARM but Kyro cores. The Snapdragon 660 should be known to Qualcomm for mid-range phones, but it’s also worth noting that thanks to the improvements, it is approaching last year’s top solution, the Snapdragon 835, 10-15 percent behind it!
Surely surprising, but while the Lite version included a notched display with a notch, the Xiaomi pushed a 2160 x 1080 pixel IPS panel with a completely average FHD + resolution into this phone. This is suspected to be the same as the solution used in the Xiaomi MIX 2 and MIX 2S, at least the physical dimensions of the diagonal, the panel all point to this.
The three cameras on the phone have become really powerful. The more substantial back panel unit is a double 12 + 20 megapixel pair. Of this, the 12-megapixel uses a Sony IMX486 Exmor RS chip, and above it is an f / 1.75 aperture lens. The lower resolution unit works with a standard zoom range lens, the 20 megapixel is a telephoto solution that enables the phone for real-time hardware depth blur and, of course, hardware, i.e. optical zoom. To make sure that wasn’t good enough, Xiaomi didn’t save with the front camera either. Here I used the same Sony IMX376 Exmor RS sensor that I had on the back of the telephoto camera, but here, of course, comes with a normal lens. Due to the different lens, the aperture value here is slightly worse, f / 2.0.
Needless to say, the phone’s other capabilities bring the typical Xiaomi quality, so plenty of sensors and artificial intelligence also help us with everyday tasks as well as photography. The only weakness is the battery, whose capacity allows it to be used for one day without charging under normal use.
