The Ab Hacker Group rewrote the basic law on the Ab website

The text of the basic law available on the website of the Constitutional Court (Ab) has been rewritten by hackers who call themselves members of the Anonymous group, the Index wrote on Sunday. A spokesman for Ab told MTI that the document has since been removed from the site and they will try to republish the correct text as soon as possible.

András Sereg said that at noon they learned that a hacker attack had hit the text of the basic law on the board's website. Currently, they see that the rest of the content on the page is okay. He added that if necessary, they will take the necessary steps because of what happened.

The Index said on Sunday afternoon that hackers had amended the National Creed of the Basic Law by several paragraphs. For example, they included in the text that IT workers could retire at the age of 32 with 150 percent of their salary, and that Anonymous and other self-organizing IT groups and individuals could be required to take action against external and internal threats to the country.

“We believe that tyrant ideas, rulers, dictators are just short sections of history, a tyranny that the people can move and rebel against at any time,” the hackers added to the basic law text available on the Ab website.

Anonymous has carried out a number of cyber attacks worldwide in recent months and is increasingly focusing its actions on pirated actions against well-known security companies, law enforcement and other government agencies. The group paralyzed the portal of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for several hours in January and also appeared as the perpetrator of an attack on the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) website. Interpol managed to arrest 25 members of the hacker group in Europe and South America on Wednesday.
