ATI R600 pictures

Newer pictures appeared on the net, which could probably be taken with a phone.

In the rather poor quality recordings, if our previous news is correct, we can see the OEM version, XTX, based on the R600 core. The images show a heat-tube GPU cooling similar to the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 series, which differs most from NVIDIA's work in terms of fan placement. The ATI card isn't short anyway, but the fan housing at the end of the PCB still puts a shovel on it. The interesting thing about cooling is that it draws air not from under the card, but above it, so you can probably gain quite a few degrees.

From the brutal fan housing and the size of the blade center, it is likely that a fairly large motor will wind the air. The motor is 24 watts anyway, which is not modest. THE manufacturer does exist, and supplies refrigeration for OEM solutions. The exact description of the fan, including its noise level, will probably be available from the engine data soon. The above facts support the speculations about the rather high energy demand, we are curiously expecting the level of noise.
