According to Krisztián Takács, President and CEO of BTel, the deployment in the affected areas based on institutional needs, followed by the interconnection of the entire backbone, represents a significant leap in terms of service quality and bandwidth, network flexibility and security, . BTel's own network, which is based entirely on its own assets and provides nationwide coverage and is planned to consist of five phases, is expected to be completed by 2015.

The own network, which is planned to expand continuously until 2015, will play a significant role in Business Telecom’s plans. The company regularly spends part of the funds received during the 2011-2012 bond program on its own network developments, which will pay off in the short term, and plans to do so in the future by continuing the bond program and implementing its stock exchange plans.

BTel's new urban telecommunications network, which is already connected to business and residential subscribers, has helped the local government and its 64 institutions to make significant cost reductions. "Recent feedback has been extremely positive: public institutions joining BTel's customer base, saving up to 50 percent on telecommunications costs without their own investment, including offices, schools, hospitals, have seen a significant leap in service quality and bandwidth," said Krisztián Takács.
