ASUS uBoom - a bombastic solution for portable computers

Desktops have already outperformed desktops in terms of performance, but have so far lagged behind in terms of sound.

ASUS wants to help with this problem with its new speakers designed specifically for portable machines. When the uBoom family starts, it consists of two members.

UBoom Q is the smaller version. Its power is 2,4 watts, it is connected to our computer via a USB port, and through this it also receives the energy needed for operation, which means that with a little benevolence we can even call it a portable solution. However, portability is limited by size, as the structure is 290 x 110 x 72 millimeters, making it difficult to fit in a normal notebook bag. It weighs 400 grams.

The larger version is simply called uBoom. Its size and weight far exceed that of its small salt, as it weighs 3 Kg and spreads over 595 x 135 x 90 millimeters. The larger size also means more power, we get 24 watts for our money. The price of higher power is that it requires an external power source.
