ASUS gamer notebooks sail to stores with the GTX 460 on board

ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) certified machines are now being expanded with two new members. The G53 and G73 use NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX 460M graphics card with 192 CUDA cores and 1,5GB of GDDR5 memory.

As their name suggests, it is a laptop with a 15,6-inch (1366 × 768 resolution) and a 17,3-inch (1600 × 900 or 1920 × 1080 resolution) display. We can ask for the machine with a Core i3, i5 or even i7 processor, 4 GB of memory - which may be scarce in the long run, but now plenty enough - as well as up to 750 GB of storage, DVD or Blu-ray drive. You can't miss the 8 in 1 card reader, 2 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi either. An 8-cell, 5200 mAh battery is also included in the box.
