Asus Ares is a reworked version of the AMD Radeon HD 5970.
The god of war ascended the throne. ASUS ’latest big throw, which can be seen as the successor to a card known as Mars, didn’t disappoint. About the limited edition DirectX 11 two-headed monster earlier we’ve already reported in our news, but it’s almost certain that one 6-pin and two 8-pin power connectors required to operate will still cause a shock.

We can’t worry about it as a mass product, a gem of HTPCs and the like, but it will certainly get a buyer in countries that are more fortunate in historical development.
