Gold plated plasma HDTV from LG

CeBIT’s kitsch parade continues: this time with a slightly larger surface gold cover.

The 71-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 and fully compliant with High Definition standards is, if not the largest, but certainly the most valuable of the types available, as its surface is coated with 24-karat gold. The DVD player included with the "Gold edition" and the 5.1 sound system also have similar features. The price of the version without extras, with a simple plastic cover, also approaches the HUF 5 million limit. Certainly, the now-announced subtype will be similarly cheap.
