Samsung is looking for Angry Birds champion in Hungary

The Samsung Angry Birds Road Show kicks off on November 8, with the company inviting Angry Birds fans to test their skills on motion-controlled Samsung Smart TVs in Media Markt stores nationwide. The top 25 players in the qualifiers until November 10 will clash in the final on December 1st.

The hugely popular game by the Finnish development team, Rovio, was released in November 2009 and has since been downloaded by users to various platforms more than 1 billion times. For the first time in the world, Samsung made it available on smart TVs.

The company is now inviting Angry Birds domestic fans to play, set to set their individual highs in the game at Media Markt stores across the country from November 8-25. Angry birds can be controlled with the movement of their hands thanks to the motion sensor integrated in the TV. The final, to be held on December 1, will reveal the Hungarian champion among the top 10 competitors. The winner can represent Hungary at the Angry Birds European Championship in London in mid-December, for which he can continue to practice on his prize, a Samsung UE40ES8000 Smart TV.

Although the qualification only starts on November 8th, it is worth practicing in advance on designated devices at Media Markt stores nationwide.
