AMD AM2 processors in Japan
Nothing is more natural than first getting to know the arrival of new hardware from Japanese sources.
It's no different now. The Akihabara store in Japan is already lined with AMD's new AM2 processors in the shop window, and eleven new models will be unveiled on the first day. These include some members of the cheaper category Sempron family as well as the top category Athlon 64 FX-62 and Athlon 64 X2 5000+.
AMD's new processors can already be distinguished from their packaging, although the boxes have remained green, with the AM2 inscription in stars depending on the family-dependent color showing from afar that they are at a higher level of trunk development.
The new processors were already waiting for the new motherboards, which so far could adorn at most our showcases, we couldn't take much advantage of them. Since we were not able to find out about the opening price of the processors from the current news, we recall the data in a table published in our April news, hoping that it will cover reality.

Not only did the processor debut affect desktop processors, but the mobile brothers also arrived. Turion 64 X2 processors, as their name suggests, have two cores. The TL-60 / TL-56 / TL-52 / TL-50 already fit into the AMD S1 socket. Unfortunately, we do not yet have information about the goods.
