Thermaltake came up with an NVIDIA housing

After six months of promising and believing, the computer case of the Thermaltake Element V called NVIDIA Edition has finally become available.

Undoubtedly, the nook was made for “sufferers” of Fermi fever: the manufacturer primarily recommends its latest product to GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480 owners, in which users can boldly build on their various SLI ideas. Unsurprisingly, the outer and inner rails operate in black and green. The housing, which is 532 mm high, 220 mm wide and 537 mm long, has five 5,25 ″, six 3,5 ″ and one 2,5-inch expansion slots, weighing 14,13 kg. The panel with output and input connectors is located at the top of the nook, which includes audio connectors, eSATA and four USB 2.0 ports. In addition, we find a built-in fan controller and pre-drilled holes for those thinking about water cooling.

As for the cooling: there is a 230 mm air stirrer on the side of the nook, but there is also a 200 mm on the top and a 120 mm on the front and back of the house. Thanks to its collaboration with NVIDIA, a special “air duct” designed for graphics cards has also been included in Thermaltake’s salvation, primarily for builders of three-passenger and quad SLI systems. The manufacturer is wasting its product for $ 219 (~ 50 forints), without a power supply, of course.
