Microsoft is fighting the Start menu

Earlier, Tami Reller, head of marketing for the operating system, also stated that the Start menu will not be included in Windows 8.

The call was immediately received by the system's buherators, who came up with a number of solutions. One of these was the modification of the RPEnabled registry key inside the HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer folder, but various third-party applications were also created that brought the Start menu back with more or less success. These may still have worked in the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, but WinSupersite reported that the line was broken here. Programmers have knocked out all sorts of methods in the Windows 8 Release Preview, and are making a number of improvements until the final release to prevent future external applications that bring back the Start menu in some form. Equally surprising is the fact that there is still no tutorial that provides step-by-step instructions on the novelties and benefits of the new tiled interface - although Tami Reller believes it is a serious mistake that Windows 8 does not help users who do not. find the familiar items in the user interface.
