SonyEricsson has announced two new members of the Xperia family

The Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro have also been officially announced by the manufacturer.

SonyEricsson has officially announced two new members of the Xperia family, the Xperia Mini and the Xperia Mini Pro.

Both novelties run Android 2.3, which is powered by a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB of memory. The display is provided by a 3-inch display capable of displaying 480 × 320 pixels. Memorable moments will be captured with the 5 Megapixel optics, which are also suitable for recording 720p videos.

The Xperia Mini has 320 MB of internal memory, while the Mini Pro has got 400 MB of memory. Of course, both devices can be further expanded with a microSD card. In addition to the physical QWERTY keyboard, the Xperia Mini Pro also has a scratch-resistant display. They may be on store shelves in August, but it’s too early to talk about the price.
