Sony also replaces defective batteries in its own notebooks

After major notebook manufacturers, Sony, which shipped faulty batteries, was also forced to replace its own computers.

Sony will replace about 300 batteries for the Vaio series involved in the case. This is also strange because when the overheating problems were identified, spokesmen for the Japanese company said in August that it would not affect the manufacturer’s own notebooks, so Vaio owners are not exposed to the worst-case fire and accident hazards caused by the units.
